Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest is the second largest Bavarian festival in the world and the third most recognized event brand in Canada. Their unique celebration of German-Canadian culture is a tribute to our community, and one that exemplifies an appreciation and acceptance of all the cultures that make up Canada.
For the MaxEnt 2011 banquet, the Alpine Club and the Waterloo Inn will produce an upscale, one night "taste" of the festival for us which will include official keg tapping, music, entertainment and special guests.
On Thursday, we will gather around 4:30 with the bus departing at ~4:45. Upon arrival at the Alpine Club we will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, schnapps and drinks, and the keg tapping ceremony. Live traditional music will accompany the festivities until dinner. Throw in a few surprises and it should be a great time......Oktoberfest ist Wunderbar!
